Thoughts on Travel

I am not a "new nomad" or a constant rambler. My life is firmly grounded in family, and my home base is in Alberta, Canada, where my husband works (and I used to work, and hope to work in the future), where I raise my children, and where I write about travel. There are sometimes long breaks in between trips and adventures, and when I am all caught up on writing about my experiences on the road, I do sometimes like to write about travel itself - what it means, what it shouldn't mean, and how it can affect one's life.

Since these musings don't particularly fit into any one category, I'll file them here. Feel free to comment on these articles, as they are meant to provoke thought and discussion!
